My Role: Lead Designer/ Developer/ Project Manager
This project was developed for Walmart to be launched in Fall of 2018. After gaining traction with our placed collections, the goal was to leverage a "new look" to hit a different Walmart customer. Using inspiration from outdoor category, we set out to explore something new.

Development
First samples and panels were reviewed in China at the factory sample room, resolving any color matching issues and construction issues. We reviewed all details to ensure the second samples would be improved for the customer meeting. We received a tour of the factory afterward, walking through their production floor.










The next set of samples were used in the customer meeting. A third set of samples were made and were reviewed in the US for production materials and craftsmanship.











This project was taken in Walmart stores in September 2018 at a smaller, targeted door count. We were able to hit all FOB targets and hit the $69 pricepoint. In the following years, the door count has been increased as it is a strong collection in certain locations.
